"Don't wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle."
Proverbs 23:4-5 NLT
I must confess, I am guilty of this. I am a Dave Ramsey: Financial Peace guy! And like Dave says: "Where is the best place to go when you're broke? To work!"
Now listening to Dave and God's ways of dealing with money has blessed me and my family. But like the writer of Proverbs say: wealth can disappear in an instant.
God wants us to work hard and be good stewards of the money, He has entrusted us with. He always wants to be first in your life. So a work-life balance is essential. If not, work and financial gain can become your "god".
Remember, money is not evil; but "For the LOVE of money is root of all kinds of evil." 1 Timothy 6:10
Work hard, be a good steward, trust God for all your needs (you can't outwork God), put Him first and Be Blessed!
