Week One Focus: Our Community
This week, we'll pray daily for those in our sphere of influence, interceding for those God has placed in our daily lives.
Wednesday: Our Workplaces
Daily Scripture: Genesis 39:3-6
"When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph's care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome,"
Genesis 39:3-6 NIV
We pray for our coworkers and the leadership at our workplace, asking God for His favor and blessing on them and for His provision in their lives. Knowing that we are a light placed in the darkness for such a time as this, we bless them and ask for favor and opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them.
We ask for wisdom, integrity, and stewardship that leads to promotion and influence so that we can reach others for Jesus. Despite recent events, we believe that God is working it for good and for the saving of many lives in Jesus' name. We believe that 2020 can and will be our best year yet!

Prayers for our community
Week One Focus: Our Community
This week, we'll pray daily for those in our sphere of influence, interceding for those God has placed in our daily lives.
Tuesday: Our Communities
Daily Scripture: Jeremiah 29:7 (NLT)
"And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.""
We pray for our city and its leadership: our Mayor, City Council, Police and Fire Chiefs, School Board, and Civic Leaders. We pray for pastors and their churches across the city, asking God to help our communities unite in seeking God's face for the health and prosperity of our city. We pray against the spirit of division and in its place ask for God's unity and peace. We ask God for wisdom, knowledge, counsel, power, and an understanding and fear of the Lord.

Take heart...
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.""
John 16:33 NLT
Man, think about that verse! It should get you fired up!!
Yes, in this earth, we will have trials and sorrows! We will have death, violence, fear, anxiety and yes, we will have viruses!! But Christ has overcome the world!! He has defeated our enemy, and in His time, we will win!
So put that in your heart, and have peace! God knew this was coming, He knew we would be scared and anxious! But He has and will overcome! So the best place to be, to really find peace, is on our knees, seeking our Lord, because He has overcome!!
If we can pray with you or for you, please comment or PM. We would love to lift you up!

Christ paid it all...
"But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all."
Isaiah 53:5-6 NLT
Yes, Christ paid it all! No matter your past, no matter your sins, no what you have done; Christ paid for your sins!
You may be scared, you may be frighten, you may have left Gods path; but He is here for you. He has a plan for your future.
You are never to far, Christ paid for your sins, He was beaten so you could be healed, He died so you could live!
If you need to know your future, I can't help you, but if you need to know the Man that holds your future I would be honored to introduce you to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
If we can pray for you or with you send us a PM or comment.

Faith....
"The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd."
Hebrews 11:1-2 MSG
Faith makes life worth living...think about it, if we didn't have faith, some days we could just roll up into a ball in the corner and worry ourselves to death.
But we have faith that God will see us through. We have faith that there is a hope and a future. We have faith that we will survive.
You see, faith is what makes life worth living. My God has a plan and a future for me and you; and it doesn't involve fear and panic. We will see this through, we will have faith!
If we can pray for you or with you in any way, just PM or comment.

Show love...
"Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins."
1 Peter 4:8 NLT
As followers of Christ, we are called to love one another. If we truly love Christ, our actions will show His love to others. It won't be forced, it will be natural.
During this time of uncertainty, panic and fear, we need a little love more than anything. So call or text a neighbor, check on a friend, pray for someone via FaceTime or Skype.
There are still many ways to show love. And this is what God has called us to do!
If we can pray for you or with you in any way, please comment or send a PM to let us know.

Plans for good...
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
What do we get when we follow God's plans for our life? Life may get rough but we will still receive His blessings and:
His peace that's impenetrable.
His joy that's indescribable.
His freedom that's unexplainable.
His love that's outrageous.
His mercy that's generous.
His grace that's undeserving.
His presence that's soothing.
His wisdom that's reassuring
God knows the plans before you, He saw this bump in the road.
Trust in the Lord, trust in His plans!
How can we pray for you and with you today?
Be Blessed!

Sincerely seek him...
"And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."
Hebrews 11:6 NLT
Faith...that is a really big word! As followers of Christ, we must have faith. Through the trials and tribulations of life, we must continue to believe that God exist, that He is real, we must have faith that He will see us through.
As the world around us seems to be falling apart, God is still there, He is still on the throne, He still reigns!! We must earnestly seek Him and remain faithful!!
It is impossible to please God without Faith! When the enemy attacks, dive into Gods word, strengthen your faith and know that He is still God!
If you need prayer or a boost in your faith, let us know, we will be glad to pray with you and for you!

God remains the strength...
"Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever."
Psalms 73:25-26 NLT
Some of us may be physical sick recently, others my be spiritually weak. The devil remains on the attack, but rest assure, our God is greater than any attack of the devil, greater than any virus, greater than any disease.
In this time of anxiety and depression in our nation, we must turn to God for our strength. He will see us through!
Pray for your country, pray for your community, your neighbors, your coworkers, friends and family. Put our trust in our Heavenly Father who is our strength.
Should you need specific prayer this week, leave a comment or send a PM. I would be glad to pray for you and with you!

Thief’s purpose...
"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."
John 10:10 NLT
Currently in our world, our country, our state and our community the thief is trying to steal our joy, kill our faith and destroy our way of life.
When the enemy attacks, how will we respond? Will we roll over and let him have his way. Or we will stand up in faith and prove that we are more than conquerors!
We must pray for our communities, help our neighbors and keep faith that our God reigns!! God knew this attack was coming, it did not take Him by surprise. He has a rich and satisfying life ahead.

Here's a Bible passage I'd like to share with you...
"This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.""
Joshua 1:9 NLT
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
Today, this week, this month; the world has dragged us down with fear. Fear of the unknown. Panic and worry have overcome us as a nation and globally.
Remember, our God is with us wherever we go. Focus on Him not on fear, we will come through on the other side much better for it.

The fair judge...
"He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly."
1 Peter 2:23 NLT
Man this one hit me hard today!! I have always had a short temper but do my best to control it. In 1st Peter he is talking about Jesus.
Jesus had ever right to retaliate and seek revenge. He was wrongly accused, then beaten and eventually crucified. As a human, Jesus had restraint. He knew it was for the greater good and that God would be the fair judge in the future.
Can we take a deep breath when we are falsely accused or mistreated? Can we do what is right I the eyes of God? I have to admit, it is difficult, and I fail sometimes. But take a deep breath and leave it up to your Heavenly Father.

Don’t forget to do good...
"And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God."
Hebrews 13:16 NLT
The majority of time in our busy lives it is easier not to get involved. Easier to mind your own business and keep moving. But what would happen if we took a minute to do some good in this world.
We took a minute to talk and share with a coworker that is obviously struggling with something emotionally. We buy them a cup of coffee and spend a minute with them.
We mowed our elderly neighbors front yard when we were mowing our own. We stopped and shared a meal with the homeless man on the street. We volunteered some time at church or the orphanage.
Oh how could we please our God if we took a few minutes out of our day to do some good. And I bet it would put a smile on our face as well.
Be Blessed!

Solid rock...
""Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock."
Matthew 7:24 NLT
If any of you have ever built a house or any structure, you understand what a good foundation means. It is the basis for everything g you will do. If your foundation is wrong then everything else will be wrong as well.
Part of the Hoover Dam have holes driven 150 feet into the bedrock and canyon walls to establish a solid foundation. This had to be done so that the dam would stand the test of time.
Our foundation as Christians must be built on Gods word. If we have that good solid foundation then we can stand the trials and tribulations that life will throw at us.
Make sure your house is built on a solid rock.

Don’t worry...
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Most humans are naturally worriers. I am a worrier, and if I let it, worry will overwhelm me. It will grab a hold of me and drag me down, it will consume me.
But when I dive into His word and pray, turn my cares over to God, I find a peace comes over me. Now the devil still attacks and sometimes I pick that worry back up, so I have to dive back into pray again.
But our Heavenly Father loves us, He wants to take our cares and worries from us. So turn your cares over to Him and let Him send you peace.

Keep on praying...
"Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying."
Romans 12:11-12 NLT
Man it is so easy to turn from God when trouble comes, to feel like He has abandoned you. Have you ever felt that way? I have...
You feel like your alone in this world, like God or no one else cares. But I have found that if you cling to the Lord, press into His word and His work, that the troubles soon fad away. Or they don't feel so large and are manageable with God by your side.
So let us rejoice in our confident hope that God is for us, press on and keep on praying. And share with your brothers in Christ so we can stand along side you and pray with you!

Your will be done...
"He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, "My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.""
Matthew 26:39 NLT
So many times I have prayed that God would take a burden from me. Sometimes He does, sometimes He doesn't. But either way, in time, it always works out for Gods will.
Jesus was 100% God and 100% human. He already knew God's will, He knew the outcome, but the human side of Him did not want to suffer. Just like us, we do not like to suffer. But there is a greater good ahead.
If your going through a tough time right now, your asking God to take a burden away from you, remember He knows your suffering, but He also knows the greater good that will come in the future.
In all the times I have suffered, I have come out stronger, with more faith and a much bigger testimony that God helped me through it than if He would just taken it away.

Maintains his integrity...
"Then the Lord asked Satan, "Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.""
Job 2:3 NLT
Why do bad things happen to good people? That is the life long question that I still don't have the answers too. But I do know that when bad things happened must maintain our integrity.
It is very easy to blame God, because He is God, He is in control of everything. Why did he not change our circumstances? For that I don't know.
Life is hard, but without God, it is harder. Now that I am more mature in my faith, I tend to lean into God and focus on Him when the tough times come.
I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and no matter what comes my way, He is there for me!

Rescue your crushed spirit...
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed."
Psalms 34:18 NLT
King David went through many trials and tribulations in his life. But he was a man after Gods heart. God always healed David's spirit and forgave his sins. God was always there for him.
Times in our life we feel so far from God. Maybe a severe illness has occurred some great tragedies in our lives. We feel like God is a million miles away. I've been there, and I have cried out to my God, asking where He was and why I was going through this.
But Gods word says He is there beside us, to heal us, to save us. We must cry out to Him, put faith in His plan. In time, as I am living proof, He will rescue your crushed spirit!

Looking forward...
"No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,"
Philippians 3:13 NLT
Our past haunts us all. We think that God can't use us because of our past. We may be divorced, had financial failures, been fired from a job, committed a crime or even sinned so bad that we are ashamed to tell anyone.
We must look forward, God has a future in store for you with a great plan. As His child, your past is forgiven and He wants you to succeed in everything you do. God is our biggest cheerleader!!
No matter your past, keep focused forward on the work God has in store for you! He can use you even when you think you are broken and unusable!
Be Blessed!

Your faith remains strong...
"If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life's difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God!"
James 1:12 TPT
Man, life is difficult!! The enemy attacks at every corner. Sometimes we feel like life is a constant battle. Especially the closer we get in our walk with God, the devil does not want us close to our Heavenly Father.
We feel beat down, exhausted and defeated. But we must remain faithful! God will fill your life with blessings beyond measure for remaining faithful.
When we feel like we can no longer stand, we must stand firm in Gods faith!! Greater things are ahead!
Be Blessed!
Be Blessed!

I am the Lord’s servant...
"Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her."
Luke 1:38 NLT
Mary was a teenage girl who became pregnant out of wedlock. The plan that God had for her life was surely not how she saw her future. But she submitted to God's will and she became the mother of the newborn King!!
Oh what God could accomplish in our lives if we truly submitted to His will. How is God wanting you use you today?
Are you willing to submit to His plan and answer "I am the Lords servant"? If you do, His plan has so much in store for you!!
Be Blessed!

In the name of the Lord....
"David replied to the Philistine, "You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven's Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!"
1 Samuel 17:45-46 NLT
As I read an old story of a shepherd boy that God used to slay the giant, I ask myself, is nothing to great for our God?
David was a teenage shepherd, God used him, a sling and a stone to defeat a great enemy. A giant none the less!!
David eventually grew into a mighty king, a man after God's own heart. But he did this by submitting to God will. He allowed God to use him in a mighty way. He didn't hold back, he trusted Gods plan.
What would you allow God to use you for? How many enemies could we defeat? How many souls could we lead to Christ? How many people could we serve? Trust in Gods plan and the "whole world will know that there is a God!!"
Be Blessed!
