Prepare a place…

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you having family visit this Christmas season? If so, you're probably making sure the house is put together or baking their favorite dessert. Then you pick them up at the airport with a big welcome sign.

Jesus is doing the same for His children! He is preparing our home in Heaven and creating a feast at His table! And He personally will come and pick you up and take you there!

Are you ready for His arrival? Have you shared His good news so that others may join us? Let anyone and everyone know that He is coming to take them home and Be blessed!

It was good…

"And God saw that it was good."
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We often see "bad" things in this world. But the God of the universe saw "good" in all that He had made. That was His original intention, until the fall of Adam and Eve and the introduction of sin.

So within everyone and everything is something "good", as He intended. Look at the world through His eyes.

So next time you see sin or pain or evil, know that there is more inside. See the Father crying because of what we have become. Try to be the good that He intended and spread His love to others so you both can Be Blessed!

Mercy

"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful."
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭36‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Mercy is to show compassion or forgiveness to someone who might not deserve it. We all know that person that is just rude or backstabbing. Maybe someone in your past who has wronged you?

What do you think would happen if we forgave them? If we showed them some mercy? Maybe their bitterness and anger would be lifted from them because someone cared?

Where would we be if God had not shown us mercy for our sins? Show someone a little mercy this week. See how they and you, will Be Blessed!

Within us..

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,"
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God can do amazing things if we allow Him to work through us. But the often overlooked part of this verse is: "his power that is at work within us." The power to do great things is already there, living inside us. We just have to let go and allow it to work.

Noah could not have built the ark without God in him. Moses could not have parted the Red Sea without God in him. The church as we know it could not have been built by Paul without God in him.

Release the power of the Heavenly Father within you. Watch the great things He can do through you and Be blessed!

Always…

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It's easy to rejoice, pray and gives thanks when times are good. But what about when the enemy attacks? What about when times are tough and you don't see a way through?

Paul tells us to "rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in ALL circumstances!" Why? Because our Heavenly Father is bigger than whatever you're going through right now. He will be there waiting in the other side.

So trust Him and His plan for your life. He will see you through. And on the other side, you will Be Blessed!

Rescue..

"For he is the living God and he endures forever; …. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.""
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I look back at my career as an EMT, a Flight Nurse and an ER Nurse. I pray that I was able to rescue and save a few lives. But as I near retirement, I have slowed down.

As I read this verse, I notice: "He endures forever!" God doesn't need to slow down or retire. He is the same God today as the one who saved Daniel from the lions den. He is the same God who pulled Jesus from the grave.

So whatever you're going through, don't think that God is too busy or too tired to rescue you. He is still wants to rescue you from whatever battle you're facing. Reach out to Him and Be Blessed!

No room…

"and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them."
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The innkeeper was super busy with census guest visiting town, he was booked full. Do you think the he would have made room had he known that the baby would be the savior of the world?

Is your life too busy to let Jesus have a part of your day? Part of your week? Your life? Do you have room for Him? Unlike the innkeeper, we know who He is. Will you make time for Him?

Spare some time and space today for Jesus. Have a conversation with Him, read His word, give Him room in your heart and Be Blessed!

Flash of lightning…

"He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven."
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

These are Jesus' words! He watched Satan fall like a flash of lightning! The enemy that we face daily was defeated in a mili-second by the King of Kings!

Spiritual warfare is real, and alive here in earth. Christians are attacked daily from these demonic beings. But even Satan and his legion must bow to the name of Jesus!!

So whatever battle you're going through, know that God is on your side. Speak the name of Jesus and let Him fight the war for you so you can Be Blessed!

Silver or gold…

"Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you.""
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬a NIV

What do you have that you can give Jesus? Your time, your talents, your kindness to a stranger? Peter didn't have money but he shared the good news of Jesus Christ, and helped the lame man to walk.

During this giving season, you may not have extra finances to be able to share, but I bet you have something. Maybe it's just to share the love of Christ with others. If so, do it to the best of your ability!

Use what you have, what God has given you to bless others and you too will Be Blessed!

The other side…

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."

Isaiah 43:2 NIV

We were never promised an easy life when we accept Christ. In fact, just the opposite, the enemy will attack, left, right, front and back. Sometimes it seems overwhelming and not worth the battle. 

But God did promise to see you through it. To be with you in the journey, to go before you and behind you and stand by you. You can withstand the fire if you put your faith in Him. 

We may not like the battle at the moment. But the victory will be worth it and you will Be Blessed!

Letting go…

""Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.""
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭42‬ ‭NIV‬‬

No one likes the unknown because, we all want to be in control. Letting go and trusting in God and His will can be scary. Jesus felt the same way when He let go and followed His Father's will.

But what we can't see is the bigger plan! We can't see the future, like God can. We can't see that whatever struggle we are going through now, might just change our lives and the world for the better.

So trust His good and perfect will for your life and Be blessed!

Know me …

"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Maybe you have had a best friend who knows you inside and out. One that can finish your sentences. But do they really know you?

God knows you inside and out. He knows your thoughts, your dreams, your inner fears. God knows what you're going to do before you even conceive it.

So why not know Him as well? Why not study your Heavenly Father? Trust His plans for you? Talk to Him like a best friend, trust His counsel and Be Blessed!

Believe…

"They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.""
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Its is the season of giving! We give to those in need, volunteer for organizations helping others, buy presents for people we have only seen once or twice a year. Donate our time and resources. That all makes us a good person…right?!

Of course it does, but eternity will be filled with "good people" who didn't believe! There is only one way to salvation. Belief in Jesus as your Lord and Savior! Have you believed in Him.

When you do, truly do, all that other stuff comes easy. You won't have to force yourself to do all those nice things. You just will, because if the one that saved you. Believe and then you will Be Blessed!

A miracle because of you…

"But he answered, "You give them something to eat."
‭‭Mark‬ ‭6‬:‭37‬a NIV‬‬

In Mark's gospel, he records a very specific word from Jesus. "You give them something to eat." He could have snapped His fingers and put a plate of food in front of the 5,000; but He required something from the disciples.

Their trust in Him and their obedience! You see, when we listen to God and say "yes". He will do amazing things through us!

So what is God saying to you? Are you willing to say "yes". When you do, miracles will happen and you will Be Blessed!

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you Lord for my miracles because of my "yes"!

The light…

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭NIV‬‬

While hiking, I always keep a flashlight or headlamp with me. Just in case it gets too dark before I make it back. The lamp lights my way and allows me to see clearly.

When I struggle with which way to go in my life or I have a big decision to make, I consult God's word. It guides my path as well. His word shows me the path I should follow.

Do you use His word as a guide in your own life? Let Him brighten your path and you will Be Blessed!

Understanding…

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

For 32 years I have been a ER nurse; I understand trauma and cardiac emergencies exceptionally well. Astrophysicist or nuclear fission…I am NOT your guy!

Sometimes the battles we face in this life, we will not understand. So we must put our faith in the one who does. God has a master plan for your life, He understands what you're going through.

Let Him deal with whatever is going on, trust that He will lead you and guide you and then you will Be Blessed!

Look up…

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Have you ever felt so down and low that the only thing left to do is look up? The God of the universe is looking back, ready to help.

People, politics, or any other earthly resource will fail you. Contrary to popular belief, Google does not have all the answers. Your Heavenly Father should be your source of strength.

So look up, gain your strength from Him to keep moving forward and you will Be Blessed!

Fight for them…

"David said to Saul, "Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.""
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬

David, with God's help, took on a task that Saul could not! He conquered the giant. Jesus do the same for us, He suffered and died so we don't have too.

There are people beside us, at work, at school, in the street that cannot conquer the task before them. But maybe we can help! Maybe we can provide a meal or Christmas presents for their children. Maybe we can fill up their gas tank.

Maybe we can stand and fight for them. Show them the love the Savior has for them so they can Be Blessed!

Iron…

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

An ingot of steel or iron goes into a fire and then is beaten with a hammer on an anvil, to eventually be shaped into a sword or knife. After much refinement and influence by the hammer, it becomes a masterpiece.

We also need others of influence who will help shape us, mold us and sharpen us. Sometimes the refining process is difficult but in the end, it's worth it.

Who do you have in your life that molds you? Who speaks truth into you? Allow a Godly influence into your life and you will Be blessed!

Generosity…

"One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"You can't out give God!" I am reminded of that saying when I read this Proverb. And throughout my adult life, when I give with a good heart, God always returns it back to me and then some!

You see a giver has an open hand approach, their hand is open so they can give but it is also open to receive. When you live life with a a closed fist approach, holding tightly to what you have, you can't receive anything in return.

So this holiday season, will you open your hands and give freely? If so, you will Be Blessed!

Love your enemy…

"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,"
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭44‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In today's crazy political environment and cancel culture, loving your enemies is difficult. We have different beliefs, viewpoints and ways we interact with each other.

No longer are the days of a civil conversation and agreeing to disagree. It's either believe the way I do or I hate you.

But Christ called His children to act differently. He called us to love one another, even our enemies.

Many years ago, I had someone that hated me and me them. Every interaction was negative. But then God told me, "I love them too!" That opened my eyes, so I started praying for them. It changed my perspective and our interactions.

Lift your enemy up in prayer, give them to God and see how you will Be Blessed!

Your time..

"But I trust in you, Lord; I say, "You are my God." My times are in your hands;"
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31‬:‭14‬-‭15‬a NIV

God's timing is always perfect. Sometimes when we pray, God answers "wait". Waiting is the toughest thing to do for most people. We live in a world of instant gratification.

But when the answer comes, it will be ordained by Him. Noah spent years building the ark and 40 days inside with torrential rainfall, when it stopped, he still had to wait to leave the ark. But God knew best.

He will Lead you…

"I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We may not be physically blind, but the meaning in Isaiah is so much greater! God will walk hand in hand with you and lead you down the right path, if you will allow Him.

The road may be dark and path difficult but like a sherpa, who guides a climber to the peak of the mountain, God knows the way! So when you grow weary and scared, hold your Heavenly Fathers hand and walk in His steps.

Trust Him, follow Him and Be Blessed!

Be strong…

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.""
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes the day in and day out struggle of ministry overwhelms us. It seems like it never stops and we don't get a break. And while working behind the scenes, you hardly ever see the rewards.

But we don't work for rewards in earth, trophies or accolades. Our reward will come in Heaven when our Heavenly Father tells us "well done".

So when you're tired, and you feel like it's a struggle. Remember, you are doing good work. God sees you and you will Be blessed!

The heart….

"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.""
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In today's world of social media, we see everyone's highlight reels. They post what makes themselves look good and what they want you to see. But the old saying goes, you can't judge a book by its cover.

God sees what is on the inside. He sees our heart, He sees our true intentions. He knows us by how we act and how we treat others. He knows us by our love for Him and our fellow mankind.

Are you just showing others your "highlight reels"? It doesn't matter how you "look", what matters is if your heart reflects God love? Make God proud of what's on the inside and Be Blessed!

Worry…

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Twice, this week, Phil 4:6 has come up in my quiet time. As we come into the busy holiday season, this verse resonates! Can we get everything done… how are the finances… what do we need… where are we going… do we have enough cornbread… and it just snowballs!

But God always honors those who bring their worries to Him! He always provides our needs. He always directs our paths and always comes through, right on time!!

So turn on a little praise music, take a deep breath. Give your worries to Him and prepare to Be Blessed!

Prayer…

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you pray about your family, your finances? Maybe you just pray about big decisions, problems or things that are worrying you? Well I hope not.

We are called to pray about "every situation"! Not just the ones that you think are "God worthy". Pray about the little things, the big things, the any and all things. I once heard a fellow believer say that he even prays about his parking spot at Walmart.

God wants to hear your prayers, bring them all to Him. He will listen and He will honor your faithfulness. Then you will Be blessed!

Faithful…

""His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'"
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

During this proverb, Jesus is explaining that if a servant is faithful then the master will trust him with so much more. More resources, more responsibilities, more rewards.

As God has blessed me and my family, we try to be good stewards of everything He has given us. And when we are faithful, He blesses us more and more! Some days, God overwhelms me and makes me speechless.

Are you a faithful servant? Can you be trusted with the big things? Let's be good stewards of what He has given us and be faithful when he entrust us with more. God wants you to Be Blessed!

Take care of each other…

"Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God calls us, as believers, to take care of the poor, the sick, the hungry and yes…our own flesh and blood. We have a duty to care for those less fortunate than ourselves.

So today, I challenge you! Buy a cup of coffee or a meal for someone in need. Check in your elderly neighbors or family members. Be Jesus' hands and feet today.

One day you might be in the position to need a little help as well. I pray someone answers God's call when you are. Love on one another and Be blessed!

Be still..:

"He says, "Be still, and know that I am God;"
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬ a NIV‬‬

Sometimes in this fast paced world, it is difficult to be still. We have a wealth of knowledge and entertainment at our fingertips. We have constant distractions and notifications.

But we need to force ourselves to "be still". To listen for God's voice and what He is saying to us. Maybe a daily devotion time or a weekend away. But take time to listen for God's voice.

Take some time to be still and Be blessed!

Love…

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Broken relationships restored, failed marriages saved, a world full of sinned saved. All because of love! We can change someone's attitude even their life trajectory by showing them love, the love of Christ living in us.

We can use love to help others, to restore relationships just as Jesus used His love for us to save the world. So who will you show love to today? Maybe someone who needs a little help at the grocery store or a spouse who has gone astray?

Love trumps everything! Show a little love to someone today. I bet you both will Be Blessed!

Light…

""You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Darkness is not a "substance" in itself. It is only the absents of light. Go into a pitch black room and light a small candle, and look at the difference. The light drives the darkness away.

We are called to be God's light! To shine and drive out the darkness. How can you be light today? How can you brighten your workplace, or your school this week?

Be the light and the darkness will flee! Show God's love and mercy to others so that you both can Be blessed!

Manna…

"Moses said to them, "It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat."
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ b NIV

God provided life giving manna to the Israelites in the desert. It was their daily provision. He provided for their needs.

If you will allow Him, He will also provide your daily needs. He will sustain you through the ups and downs of life. He will provide your every need.

So if you're wondering in the desert today, trust God to provide for your needs today. Eat the manna He sends you and Be blessed!

Joy…

"I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Joy doesn't come from an action or an outside source. It is an inner peace that comes from God and flows out into everything you do.

We have all met that person that has true inner joy. Everything they do, you can see true happiness in their soul. You can't get that kind of peace from this world.

Does the joy of the Lord fill you? Do you depend on Him for that inner peace? His joy will make you complete and you will Be blessed!

Running…

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize."
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The winner of the Boston Marathon didn't win by being lax in his training. No, he had a plan and a purpose, train to win! We should live our Christian lives with the same mindset.

Train our minds daily in God's word. Only take in things that are good for our spiritual body. Practice by serving and loving others. Stay hydrated with praise and worship. Set your mind on the prize ahead.

So like the marathon runner, prepare your self to win the Christian race. The prize will be worth it and you will Be Blessed!

Pray continually…

"pray continually,"
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you're a parent, especially an empty nester, you're excited to hear from your children. Maybe it's a random text, a phone call or an unexpected visit, either way you're surprised and appreciative that they thought of you.

God is that way too. He likes to talk to His children. To be in communication with them. Maybe it's not some elaborate prayer but a thought or short prayer throughout the day. A simple "thank you" at lunch or after something went well at work.

Whatever it is, talk to your Heavenly Father. He wants to hear from you. Have a continuous conversation with Him throughout the day and see how much you will Be Blessed!

Together…

"We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God's service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,"
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Paul sent Timothy to the church at Thessaloniki to be an encouragement for them. Sometimes we all need a little help from a friend. Someone to pray for us and lift us up.

Maybe it's a small group, or an accountability partner; perhaps a loving, praying spouse. Whoever it is, we shouldn't try to go through life alone. Find a Christian friend who will "strengthen and encourage you in your faith." Do the same for them.

Lift each other up, share life together. You will be stronger in your faith for it and you will Be blessed!

Seek him…

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are all searching for something. And when that something is important to us, we search with our whole heart.

We search differently for a favorite shirt to wear than we do a lost child. Our intensity and tenacity is different depending on the importance of the object we are looking for.

How vital is your relationship with God? Are you seeking and searching for Him with your whole heart? Go all in, give His your heart, seek Him with everything you have, then you will Be blessed!

Trust…

"In you, Lord my God, I put my trust."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭25‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Not just a tagline for your refrigerator verse or tattoo, Psalms 25:1 is a lifestyle. It's doesn't have stipulations or scenarios attached…it just trusting God…period.

Trust Him with your finances, your relationships, your health, your family. In every aspect, every day, in every decision, you put your trust in God.

When you're doing God's will and truly trusting Him, everything else is a cake walk. Put you trust in Him and Be Blessed!

Impossible…

"Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.""
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As Jesus was telling his disciples how to be saved He also shed some light on things they could not understand. Sometimes, we feel the same as the disciples, we think something is impossible to do.

Maybe healing a broken relationship or marriage. Maybe physical or emotional healing, or a plan or purpose for your life. You think these things are impossible. But what are you leaving out of the mix…God.

All things are possible with Him if we only trust. So what impossible task, do you need to turn over to God today, so that you can Be Blessed!

Commit…

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When a marathon runner commits to their training, they don't just train once a week or eat healthy every now and then. They change their lifestyle. They eat healthy, they run every day in a consistent training manner. They go "all in"!!

When the big race comes, they are prepared to go the distance! Same goes for our Christian walk. Are you committed? Are you daily training your mind with God's word? Are you taking in the "healthy foods" to fuel your soul and spirit?

The big race is already upon us, are you ready to go the distance? Let's commit to the Lord, see the plans He has for us so we can Be Blessed!

Generosity…

"You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In Jan 2024, we made a decision to take our ministry full time. Since that time, our non-profit has grown exponentially. The generosity that has been poured upon us overflows so that we can give it all back through a home cooked meal to someone in need.

It's funny how God works, He can take what you give and multiply it, when you give it back. Whether it's your time, your resources, your talents or your finances, He will bless it!!

Paul tells us, his letter to the church at Corinth, to give generously. Let God enrich it and see how you can Be Blessed!

He carried them…

"In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭63‬:‭9‬b NIV‬‬

Isaiah tells of how God loved and carried the Israelites in the desert. They strayed from Him many times and wondered for 40 years because of it.

But God was always there, waiting for them to turn back and ready to carry them through the tough times.

It goes to show, no matter how many times we fail or falter, God is still there, ready to carry you when you need it.

So turn back to Him, stop wondering in the desert. Embrace His love and mercy and Be blessed!

Storms..

"For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As Hurricane Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane, causing 15-20 foot storm surges, we see a SMALL comparison to the power of God. (Prayers for all those affected)

But as I read that verse, God nudged me…"I am greater than that."

If God's power can make hurricane seem small, then why can't I trust Him with the most insignificant things. Believe His power, trust that He is bigger than all your fears, anxieties and problems. Then you will Be Blessed!

Love…

"This is my command: Love each other."
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How much would the world change if we took this simple verse and put it into action? Love one another!

Christ didn't put stipulations on it: love them if they are your friend, love someone with the same political views or economic status, love someone of your same race or color. Nope, just a simple statement: Love one another!

Had there been qualifications needed, I guarantee Jesus would not have loved me enough to die for me or you. Love one another because He loved us!

So share some love today with someone: maybe a stranger, a coworker or that grumpy old man next door. See how it changes your perspective and Be Blessed!

Crush their heads…

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death. Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins. You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!"
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭19‬-‭21‬, ‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I love learning from King David and reading the Psalms. I can relate to a man, who at times failed, but still loved God like crazy.

Even though David was speaking of foreign enemies in Psalms 68, we can still picture God as a mighty warrior who is fighting for us. No matter who or what are enemies are today!

So today, be like David, allow God to go before you and "crush the heads" of your enemies. Be a Christian, whom the enemy fears by your praise and trust in the Mighty Warrior that goes before you!

The battle is ahead but we know the war is already won! We can rely on His power and Be blessed!

I lack nothing…

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Such a short verse to the most well known Psalm. Sometimes we read over this verse in haste. But think about its impact. A shepherd is a protector, a companion, a leader, a healer, a friend, a provider and so much more to his sheep.

Everything the sheep have is because of the shepherd, they lack nothing because of the good shepherd. He cares for their every need. Is the Lord your true shepherd? Do you depend on Him for everything?

Turn to the shepherd, He will provide all your needs and you will Be Blessed!

Lord your God…

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God,"
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭2‬-‭3‬a NIV

Whatever you're walking through today, be it a work difficulty, a possible medical diagnosis, a strained relationship; know that God is with you. Sometimes, like gold, the fire is not meant to burn us, but refine us, to got rid of all the impurities.

So turn your eyes to the Father, focus on Him. Allow Him to see you through. God's majestic plan always has a purpose for whatever your struggles may be today.

Know that He is the Lord your God, trust in that and Be Blessed!

Words….

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Words can do more damage than physical injuries! We can't take back words once they leave our mouth. Words can destroy a marriage, damage a reputation, cause anxiety and send someone into a deep depression.

Guard your words, think about what you say because words can also upbuild someone! They can lift a spirit, set someone on a new path and even save a life. Use your words to uplift and inspire.

Most powerfully, words can be used in prayer! Those words can change the world, use your words wisely and Be blessed!

Fear…

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Some days you wake up in a panic with fear overwhelming you. You struggle to get out the door and to your daily task. But take a minute to stop and turn to God's word.

His promise is to strengthen you, to lift you up. You have nothing to fear. God's got this!!

So take a deep breath, tell fear to answer to your Father! Trust in Him and Be Blessed!

Wait on the victory…

"I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Do you ever get tired of waiting on God? So you try to fight the battle or solve the problem yourself? Never works out to well does it?

Our victories come from Him! I know it's hard, but God's timing is perfect. Wait on Him! His victories will be much greater than if we tried to achieve it ourselves.

Stand on the rock of Jesus Christ! Trust Him in the midst of the battle and you will Be Blessed!!

Commit…

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When a young athlete commits to a college or someone commits to a military branch, they aren't saying "I have all the answers and know where I am going". They are saying "I trust you and will allow you to guide me and mold me."

With the right direction and plans, they may end up being an Olympic gold medalist or a 4 star general. But they have trusted in their leadership.

When we commit to God, He will guide your path and show you the plans He has for you. All we have to do is be willing to say Yes and trust Him.

Commit to the Lord, say Yes to His plans. Allow Him to mold you and guide you and see how you will Be blessed!

Love…

"And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.""
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When God declare His love for Jesus, he didn't put stipulations on it. He loved him. (Period) because He was His son.

God's love for us is the same! He loves us. No matter if we are having a bad day or have sinned. He still loves us. His dying love for us never changes, no matter how we are acting or what we are going through.

So remember that today! God love you. (Period) let that sink in and Be Blessed!

A little faith…

"Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you";"
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Have you ever been praying for something? Maybe even a miracle. God doesn't ask you for works or "proof of concept." He only asked for a little faith, for you to believe.

The blind man was healed, because if his faith. The lame man in the mat was healed, because of his and his friends' faith. The woman that touched the hem of His robe, was healed because of her faith.

Let's build our faith today and believe that God can do what He says He can do. Trust in Him and Be blessed!

Enemy…

"Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all have enemies, each and every day. It may be anxiety or fear. Maybe a co-worker who is rude or a demanding job. They can all be attacks of the enemy to steal our joy.

But the enemy turns and runs when God shows up! So whatever you're facing today, trust in Him, call on Him. The enemy must flee just by the spoken name of Jesus.

Call for His help, speak the name of Jesus. Watch the enemy scatter like the wind and Be Blessed!

Don’t think like them…

"The Lord has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said,"
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In the Old Testament, God warns His people not to fall into the same mindset as everyone else. Why? Because they are His chosen people who have been set apart!

Christian's should have this same thought process. Ultimately, I don't answer to social norms, politics, or what the world has to offer me. I don't even answer to myself. I have a higher authority, a noble cause, an eternal vision.

Every thing I do and say, must always be with Christ in mind! Don't think like every else and you will Be Blessed!

My father…

"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—"
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"Do you know who my father is!!?"

We have all heard this from some entitled teenager or young adult who may be trying to get out of a traffic ticket or some other offense.

But shouldn't we, as Christians, use that question in a positive, loving way? "Do you know who my father is?"

Because we believe, we are of a royal bloodline. We are a child of the King!

Share the love and good news of Christ, invite others to the family. So they can say "Do you know who my father is?" Then they can Be Blessed!

A harvest…

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you ever get wore down of serving just because you never see any good results from it? Sometimes it can be frustrating, we all want, naturally, want to see the results of our hard work.

Know that God uses all those that serve Him for an ultimate goal. Your job may be to mow the yard or cook the meal. Essentially to plant the seed. Someone else's job may be to share the gospel while another's is to lead that person to the Kingdom of Christ. It is all in His master plan.

So don't grow tired, keep doing what God called you to do. Keep serving the way you do best. A harvest is coming and then you will Be blessed!

Excuses…

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"God can't use me," because "I'm not a strong speaker" or "I'm not very knowledgeable of the Bible" or "I have a torrid past." Whatever your weakness is, stop making excuses!

Of course, God can use your strengths; but He gets more glory when He uses your weaknesses. Because we can't overcomes those weaknesses on our own. Only God can! He can turn it around and make it shine for His Kingdom.

So whatever your excuse today! Give it to God, let Him use it and prepare to Be Blessed!

Your past…

"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,"
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Does your past define who you are today?It shouldn't . So many times we let our past hold us back. We forget that we are forgiven. With repentance, God doesn't remember your past.

So break free from the chains that are holding you back. God has the keys and He has a better plan for you. Move forward and achieve all that He has in store. You are forgiven, you are worthy!

Press forward to God's ultimate plan for your life! Keep moving ahead, no matter your past and Be Blessed!

Purpose…

"May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The old phrase goes: "Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life." This is also true when you find God's purpose for your life! Not your job, but what God has called you to do!

Preaching , teaching, visiting the sick, cooking a meal or mowing a yard…when it's God's Purpose for your life; it is never a shire. What fulfills you? What ignites your passion?

Discover your purpose for your life and you will Be Blessed!

A staff…

"Then the Lord said to him, "What is that in your hand?" "A staff," he replied."
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When God called Moses back to Egypt to save His people, Moses questioned Him. How would God use him to save the Israelites? God asked a simple question, "what is that in your hand?"

Moses staff would eventually show the Pharaoh God's power. The point is: when God calls you, He will use what you have to accomplish His will. He will use your talents, your time, your resources for His purpose.

So don't think that you have nothing to offer God. He will use you and your abilities to serve Him. Just be willing to say "yes" and then you will Be Blessed!

Hope…

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Has the enemy ever stolen your hope? I'm sure at some point in your Christian walk your hope has been tested. I know mine has wavered in the past.

But hope is seeded in our walk with Christ. We anticipate or desire a certain outcome for something, but without Christ, we don't have joy and peace as we are waiting. Christ fills us with that sense of calm as we wait.

Without Him, we would spiral into fear and anxiety, as we are hope for the future. A future with Christ and His will far outweighs anything we could imagine or hope.

Trust Him, allow His joy and peace to overflow you and Be Blessed!

Fear…

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What are you afraid of today? Maybe work, school, finances, a future for your children? Maybe a medical diagnosis has you scared? Whatever it is, know that feeling of fear is not from your Heavenly Father.

The enemy uses fear as a tactic, just like a bully on the playground. But we need to stand up to the bully and punch him square in the nose (with God's word). Trust me, fear will bow to the name of Jesus.

So what ever you're afraid of today. Know that God has greater plans for you. Lean on Him, send fear running and Be Blessed!

A calling…

"He answered, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'""
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In this "me" culture, we are all about loving ourselves and looking after number one. Most people today only offer something if they get something in return.

As Christians we are called to a higher standard. Loving God first, with everything that is in us and the loving our neighbor as much as we love ourselves. The loving God part can seem easy, the neighbor part…not so much.

But Christ set that example for us. He loved so much that He gave His life for us as sinners. Shouldn't we at least love the guy we don't get along with at work. Or the "Karen" down the street who has different political views.

Let's step up to God's calling; love Him and love them. God wants you and them to Be Blessed!

Truth…

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The prophet Isaiah warns us of those who "make" their own truth. In such a mixed up world where people do whatever feels good or make up "truths" and spread falsehoods; we must be able to discern the truth.

As a Christian, our measure for truth is God's word. We must test whatever we are given against His word.

So what do you believe? Godly facts or worldly falsehoods? Which will lead you down a road where you will Be Blessed?

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

Learning to walk…

"Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."
‭‭Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

My grand daughter is learning to walk. She will pull her self up on something, steady herself and then she falls. But she doesn't give up. She starts the task all over again.

Christian life is much like that. We will fall, even fail at our task, but we must rise again. With God's strength, we will continue to rise and even walk and then run. God will be your strength in the failure and light in the darkness.

I am in my 50s now, I can't remember all the times I have fallen and failed. But I do remember when I was desperate, I looked up and saw the light. He lifted me up and helped me rise again so I could Be blessed!

Cast your cares…

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55‬:‭22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Worry and fear can overwhelm even the strongest of minds. The enemy can destroy a strong person from inside their own mind.

King David shared his fears with the Lord. He cried out to God for help and turned those cares over to the Lord. God lifted David up and sustained him.

So whatever worries you today, turn it over to God. Allow Him to deal with it so you can Be Blessed!

Venting to God…

"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you ever just need someone to talk to? Sometimes you just need somebody to listen. Maybe there are so many things going on that if you don't "vent" you feel like your going to explode!

Let God be that sounding board. He can take it. He will be your confidant, your sounding board. You can even be brutally honest with Him. Trust Him with any and everything on your mind.

So pour out your heart to God, whether it be good or bad. He is there to listen, love and comfort you. You would be surprised how much this conversation will help. Then you can let go and Be Blessed!

Christ mindset…

"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:"
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

People can be tough to deal with, especially if you have a job that interacts with the public. We have created a society where it is no longer the norm to just be kind to one another.

But Christ treated everyone with humility, love and compassion. We must follow His example in our every day lives. We must take in the mindset of Christ.

So no matter if you dealing with an angry customer, a sweet elderly neighbor or the coworker who you just can't seem to please; treat them like Christ would if He were standing beside you. Then you both will Be Blessed!

Darkness…

"You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light."
‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22‬:‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Darkness is merely the absence of light. A pitch black room can be overcome by a small candle. The light drives away the darkness.

When we are in our darkest days, we must search for the light. Our whole attitude, emotional, mental and physical state can be changed when a glimpse of light enters in. Our God is that light!!

So no matter how you feeling today, if your deem or your down in a deep dark while; find some light. Read the Word, turn on some praise music, fall to your knees in prayer. Seek the Father, look for the light, the darkness will flee and you will Be blessed!

Scars…

""He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed.""
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Healing comes in many forms. Physical, mental, spiritual, emotional: whatever your need, God can heal it!! I have personal experienced this in my life.

Scars cover, not only my body, but my mind and spirit. I have been broken, but my scars have healed and they have made me who I am. When we suffer through something we come out stronger in the other side.

Jesus suffered, was wounded and died for us; so that no matter what your scars are, you can be healed! Thank Him for your scars so you can Be Blessed!

Jesus wept…

"Jesus wept."
‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus had just lost His friend, Lazarus. He was crying with the family right before He raised Lazarus from the dead. So what's the point of this verse?

Jesus knew the future, He knew Lazarus would rise again, so why cry with the family. First, He was just as human as you and I and had just lost a friend. Two, He was supporting the family and being empathetic. He was meeting them where they were emotionally and showing them that He understood and cared.

Jesus will meet you where you are! He cares about you. He understands what you're going through. He will be your shoulder to cry on and cry with!

But something new is coming! Lazarus will rise! Jesus knows the future but He is there for the journey, lean in Him so you can Be blessed!

His love…

"neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭39‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Most teenagers believe, at some point, that they have done something to cause their parents, not to love them. Maybe the same goes for a couple. Trials come and they believe they have lost the love of their spouse.

But our Heavenly Father is so much different! Nothing we do, can separate us from His love. It doesn't change when we fail or falter. His love for us is constant.

So if you think you have done something to cause Him to forget you, know that He loves you! He is waiting there with open arms so that you can Be Blessed!

Forget the past…

""Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬a, 25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What, from your past, are you holding on too? Maybe it's a time of sin in your life, or a dark period and you can't seem to climb out?

Have you asked forgiveness? Have you forgiven yourself and others? If so, God has new plans in store for you. He has forgotten that time. He wants more for you!

It's time to allow God to write a new path for you. Turn back to Him and let Him lead and guide you to the new life He has in store for you. Forget your past and Be Blessed!

He sees you..

"The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you ever feel alone and afraid? Like no one cares and you are lost in this world? I know that I have in the past.

When we are in that dark place, we must look up. God is looking down upon you, He sees you and is for you. Lift up your eyes and cry out to Him.

Sometimes, only God can bring us back to the place we need to be. Turn your eyes to Him, because He sees you, then you can Be Blessed!

Faithful…

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"God doesn't require us to be successful; He requires us to be faithful." - Mother Teresa

With life's ups and downs, it can be difficult to succeed. Sometimes we feel like a failure. But success in your job, your family, your finances and your marriage require you to be faithful. To follow God's principles and keep Him at the front of everything you do. That is a successful life.

Keep your faith, trust Him and let the Heavenly Father do the rest. Then you will Be Blessed!

Confession….

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."
‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ a NIV‬‬

As the old saying goes "confession is good for the soul." But public confession to another believer or the one you have wronged, helps to start the healing process.

When we confess to one another, we present ourselves as humble and venerable. It turn, it lets the other party, see you as human and allows forgiveness.

Then we can support one another and help each other overcome that sin and never go back. We can be held accountable and have the support we need to move forward.

What do you need to confess today? How could you venerability help you to move forward so you can Be blessed?

The possible…

"Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.""
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes our problems seem bigger than us and to be honest, most times they are. But our Creator is bigger than any problem we might face.

"Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man's power ends." - George Muller

Take your situation to the Lord and have faith that He will overcome. Pray specifics, passionate prayers believing that He will overcome.

Turn it over to Him and prepare to Be blessed!

Be kind…

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are called to do help each other and serve those less fortunate than ourselves. A simple act of kindness can change someone's day.

Help a struggling mom in the checkout line. Spend some time with an elderly widow that just needs a visitor. Share a cup of coffee with a co worker who is having. A bad day.

We were never meant to do life alone. Take 5 minutes out of your day today to be kind to a stranger, God sees you and He smiles and you will Be Blessed!

Guard your heart…

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The writer of proverbs goes in this chapter tells us where our feet should go, what should come out of our mouths, and what we see with our eyes. But it all leads back to the heart…our spirit.

We must protect our heart and be careful what we let into our spirit. Our heart guides everything we do. What we fill it with will reflect in our every day lives.

Are you protecting your spirit? Can people see a reflection of who you truly do by what's in your heart.

Guard your heart, it will be worth it and you will Be blessed!

Seasons…

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:"
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We all go through seasons of life. Ups and downs, mountain tops and deep valleys. Depression and elation.

Maybe you're going through a touch time now. Or maybe you're living your best life. Either way, we are called to embrace and celebrate all times of life. God will use whatever season He is bringing you through for good.

So good or bad, know there is a reason and a purpose for this season of life. Trust His plan, use what He teaches you to help others and Be blessed!

Praise…

"I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭63‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Praise is easy when life is good. But when life is tough, it is difficult to give Him praise.

But even when life is hard, give Him praise. A posture of praise can change the dynamics of the day. It can drive the enemy out and set things back in track.

So lift your hands, praise Him when you're up and when you're down. Praise Him just because of who He is and Be Blessed!

Rescue and protect…

""Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God makes a promise to those who love Him. He will rescue you and protect you! All He wants in return is your love.

David was a man of many faults, and he failed frequently, but he never stopped loving God. And because of that God honored David and was with him always.

No matter what you're going through, never stop loving your Lord and Savior. He will be there to rescue and protect you, then you will Be Blessed!

Your desires…

"May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭20‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes I like to daydream. Think about what would happen if I had no limitations. What would my desires and plans be?

As big as you can dream, God can dream bigger! He can give you those desires and expand your plans beyond your beliefs.

Life..

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."

Sometimes life feels like it's coming from you at all sides. You feel like there is no escape. Like you can't handle much more.

The truth is, sometimes life sucks. But with God on your side, you can overcome. It may not be fun at the time, but you will come out the other side, better for it.

So when life gets hard, when God is in your side, trust that you will not be destroyed. Rely on your Heavenly Father and Be Blessed!

Generous…

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Dave Ramsey says if you hold onto something with a tight, closed fist; then you are not able to receive something given to you. But if you have an open hand, you can give freely but can also receive freely.

God's plan is for us to help others. By doing that He gives us more than we need and trust us deeper when we are good stewards of what we have. Life was never meant to be done alone.

Lend an open hand to someone in need. One day you may be on the receiving end as well. The you too will Be Blessed!

This is the way…

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In the Star Wars series: "The Madalorian", the madalore people followed a set of religious rules and rituals to prove their worthiness. They recited their creed followed by "This is the way!"

Even though it is science fiction, it shows how human think they can win their way into heaven by doing certain things or acting certain ways. But there is only one way: belief in Jesus Christ as your Savior!

No amount of good acts or deeds will get you to a Heavenly eternity. Jesus Christ came to die so you might live. Trust in Him; "This is the way!" The only way, know that truth and you will Be Blessed!

Eagles view….

"But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I like to hike, and the largest state park in AL, Oak Mountain, is 15 minutes from my house. It has an extensive trail system.

The "red road" trail is wide and easily passable with only a 4.1% grade, but there is nothing spectacular at the end. But the hike to "eagles nest" takes you on the "blue trail", a 7.3% grade and then to the "eagles nest overlook" with a 29.2% grade. Ad you keep climbing, you come to the "kings chair". Those are narrow and require tenacity! But the view is well worth it!

Sometimes life with God is a 29.2% grade! It can be narrow, lonely, difficult and tiring. But what He has in store, will always be worth it!

Keep hiking, climb the narrow, difficult road. You will eventually see from the true "King's chair" and you will Be Blessed!

The heart…

"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.""
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Bananas, in the store, can be a light green or yellow and without blemish, but inside they are firm and bland. But let their skin get darken with some spotting and they soften and get sweet! Their outside appearance can be deceiving.

It's the same with people, we may put on a nice outward appearance but inside we are broken or even harsh and evil. But God sees the person, who is a mess on the outside, but who has a heart and compassion to love others. He see the one who has a heart to serve and care deeply.

God sees your heart, no matter what your life may look like on the outside. No matter how crazy your day or how disorganized your life is, He sees what truly matters. So don't judge a person by their appearance but look at their heart like God does and then you will Be Blessed!

Don’t give up…

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.""
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Life is hard, it's tedious. Some days it feels like it is a continuous uphill battle. You want to give up and feel like there is no end in sight.

But God sees you! You may never know the results of your kingdom work, but He does. He sees the future and is using you to lay a foundation for His future plans.

So be strong, don't give up! You may not realize it, but someone, somewhere, sometime will Be Blessed because of you!

Love…

"We love because he first loved us."
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Before you were even conceived, He loved you! Our capacity to love comes because He first loved us.

The love I have for my wife and family, is nothing in comparison to God's love for us. But I love my wife and family more because they love me back. It should be the same with our Heavenly Father, love Him more and more because He loved you!

Share God's love with others today. Allow Him to pour out His love through you, then you will Be blessed!

Fight for you…

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.""
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When you're in a battle, it's only natural to fight back. Our human nature wants to take care of the problem; whether it be relational, financial or physical. We seek counsel, pick up some overtime or go see the doctor.

And while all those are good solutions, maybe we need to be still first, and turn it over to God. Maybe we need to let him fight our battles for us.

There is nothing wrong with putting feet to your prayers but you still must put your faith in your Heavenly Father!

So be still, let Him fight for you and Be blessed!

A journey…

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The Christian walk is a journey! We strive to move forward in the path. Some days we stumble, and some days we go off course. But we keep walking toward the goal, which is Christ.

Christ has more in store for you! Keep walking, keep moving. You will never achieve perfection in this lifetime, but God sees you. He smiles at your progress.

And when you can't walk anymore, let Christ carry you. Enjoy the journey and Be Blessed!

The thief…

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes the little things can steal your joy! Maybe your paycheck was wrong, you burnt the toast, or the kids are acting up today. A little thing, can steal your joy and ruin your day.

That's what the enemy wants, and he will grasp at every straw to try and bring you down. Remember, God is in control and He brings light in the darkness.

So don't let your joy be taken from you today! Take a deep breath, remember that God loves you and He is still on the thrown. Then you will Be Blessed!

Helping…

"Boaz replied, "I've been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband-"
‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬a NIV

Ruth stayed to help Naomi. She was a true friend, she led like we should. She helped someone in need. She sacrificed for others.

Have you followed that example? In today's "me centered" world, helping others is a rare commodity. But the joy and pleasures of pouring into someone in need far outweighs the cost.

God didn't put us in earth to do life alone. So if you have a hand up, why don't you put a hand out and help lift someone else up. You both will Be Blessed!

Testing…

"Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.""
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Have you ever felt God is testing you? I surely have. I don't claim to understand all of God's ways. And I might not "test" my own children, but I can see why He does.

Some times He test to see if we will remain faithful. Some time to see if He can entrust us with more. Can you withstand the test?

I believe He truly loves us, but testing can sometimes waiver our faith. But if we come through and completely trust Him, the we will see how much we can Be blessed!

Prayer…

"The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you make plans? Maybe for the work day or for vacation or what needs to get done at home. But what about your prayer life? Do you make plans for it?

I've never been a great prayer. Some days it's a struggle, so I have been studying a little about prayer lately. Planning for your prayer time can be very important. Maybe you need to make a list or set aside a certain time of the day. Be focused like you would a task at work or home.

Having a plan for prayer will keep you on track. Keep your mind from wandering and lead to better time with the Father. Then you will Be Blessed!

Here's a Bible passage I'd like to share with you...

""I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you know anything about sheepdogs, they protect their flock just like the shepherd would. There are many stories of sheepdogs defending their flock against multiple wolves at the same time, in the hills beyond the field. Coming back bloody and mangled, willing to give their life to save the sheep.

Jesus is our shepherd, He is our sheepdog. We may just be grazing in the field, but He is on the hillside fighting our battles. He DID lay down His life for ours.

So whatever you're facing, Jesus will fight for you, He will defend you. He may come back bloody and mangled but He will overcome the enemy. Take solace in know He loves you enough that He died for you and Be blessed!

God is for us…

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes we need to read that verse, then read it again, and again…OUT LOUD!

The enemy may attack, work may suck, finances may struggle, relationships may be strained, anxiety and depression may be lingering but GOD is FOR YOU! Nothing can stand against Him.

So keep praying, keep pushing. Know that God is working behind the scenes, in His time and in His way. He is fighting for you.

Keep your chin up, know that He loves you and Be Blessed!

Christ in you…

"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sometimes we feel beat down and like we aren't going to survive. Anxiety, stress, physical health, and spiritual health can all make us feel broken. But we do t have to live by our own strength anymore, because Christ lives in us.

Even when it is hard to connect with God and we feel like our prayers don't make it past the ceiling; we must rely on Christ! Trust Him, even when you feel He has left you alone. He is still there!

So trust that Christ lives in you! He is there, cast your cares in Him and Be Blessed!

Evil…

"Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is easy to pay back evil with evil, to give someone what you feel they deserve. But it's very difficult to repay evil with good. As the old saying goes: "kill them with kindness."

Evil is just the absence of good! Fill the world with good and evil will flee. Jesus came to save us from the evil one. Let's do our part to spread His good news to everyone.

So next time you're offended or attacked, try returning some good to the offender. Something tells me they will be knocked off their heels and you both will Be Blessed!

Faith…

"For we live by believing (faith) and not by seeing."
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Life rarely goes as we expect or plan. We often get derailed. Our instinct is to crave clarity, answers and regain control. But in these moments of uncertainty, God's word speaks truth: "live by faith."

Walking by faith doesn't ignore your fears, it looks fear in the eyes and choices to trust God's plan anyway. Faith calls for us to surrender control to God and lean into Him.

Your faith walk may be rocky and some times treacherous but God goes before you. He fights for you, let Him lead your path and you will Be blessed!

War..

"They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of Lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.""
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭17‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Spiritual life can be a constant battle. Truth is, it is constant war!! The enemy wages war against the Lamb of God. He does that by attacking His children.

Our spiritual battle was never guaranteed to be easy. Some days we have to push and fight to make a step forward. Some days we can't more forward so we just have to stand firm on the promises that God is fighting our battles for us.

So trust that Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is fighting your battles for you, even if you don't feel it. Trust Him and Be blessed!

Dark and light…

""You are the light of the world."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬a NIV

Darkness is the absence of light, we cannot measure darkness only light. In the blackest of places, a small candle can drive out the darkness.

Are you driving out the darkness in your world? Are you being the light? When the light comes on…darkness flees!

So be the light to someone today! Drive out their darkness with your kindness and love. Then you and they will Be Blessed!

Your reason…

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is very easy to tell someone, "yeah I'm a Christian!" But when they ask "why" then what is your answer? Why have you chosen Christ? Why do you believe He died and rose again? Can you articulate your reasons for believing?

We all have reasons for what we do and what we believe, even sub-conscious reasons. Can you explain those to the unbeliever?

Even in your darkest valley, do you still believe? Is your faith explainable and unmovable?

Find your reason, explain it to those who ask. Then you and they will Be Blessed!

A new life…

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV

How is your life reflecting Jesus? When you interact with others, can they see something different in you that leads them to hope in Christ?

When our bodies need water or some other nutrients, it loses its full potential. We slow down, we make mistakes, we struggle. Our body breaks down.

Our soul is the same, it needs a relationship with our Heavenly Father. Our soul works better when we have what we need from God.

Seek the water that you need from Him. Allow God to provide your soul what it needs, so you can Be Blessed!

Faith…

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Faith is easy when things are going well! We must believe God's promise when our circumstances look different. We must continue to believe even when God is silent.

Faith is most difficult when trouble comes but true faith shines brightest in the darkness. Faith is a skill in my Christian walk that I struggle with, especially in the darkness, even more in the silence.

So grab a prayer partner or a Christian friend, check on their faith and let them upbuild yours. God is still there, even in the silence. Keep your faith and you will Be blessed!

Ordinary…

"When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus."
‭‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"Unschooled, ordinary men": in fact they were blue collar, fishermen, yet they spread the gospel throughout the world. Jesus had ordinary men as His companions and confidents.

So when you say, "God can't use me", I'm just a teacher, or businessman or homemaker: remember the words in Act 4:13. Jesus needs and uses ordinary people to spread the gospel.

Your neighbor is more likely to listen to you sharing the gospel than if some random preacher came knocking on their door, unannounced. So use your influence, where you are and share His good news.

God makes extraordinary out of ordinary! Let Him use you and Be Blessed!

Compromises…

"Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Are you a rule follower? For the most part, I am. I try not to compromise my integrity and do what I am supposed to do. But I wasn't always that way. In my younger years, I was a rebel and liked to rock the boat. It led to a rocky life.

I found that seeking God and not compromising with evil, gave me a peaceful heart. My soul feels better when I walk in God's path.

So try seeking God's heart, follow His path and laws and I guarantee, you will Be blessed!

Praise…

"You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do you ever just take a day off from asking God for things and just praise Him for who He is? Just stop making your prayers about yourself and make them about your Heavenly Father today.

Just praise Him for all the things, that you know, He has done for you. And for all the other things, that you don't even realize He has done. Praise Him for His love, His grace and His mercy.

Praise Him because He is your God, your Savior, your friend. Praise Him for who He is to you. Praise Him because you love Him. Just praise and Be Blessed!

Holy…

"Be holy, because I am holy.""
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"Holy" means to be dedicated or consecrated to God. We are worthy of being holy because Christ made a way. No longer are the legalistic sacrifices necessary.

Holiness is also a daily walk, some days are better than others but dedication to God comes from putting one foot in front of the other and getting closer and closer to our Heavenly Father.

Christ made a way, the only way. Keep walking , keep pushing, be dedicated to God and you will Be blessed!

Faith…

"Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you";"
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We know that God can do whatever we ask, but faith requires something on our part; we must believe. We must trust in Him, turn it over to Him and allow Him to do His part.

If we keep trying to fix it ourselves, that's not faith, that's self reliance. We must believe that God is who He says He is and will do what He has promised. Our part is to believe.

So give it to Him, whatever it is, trust His word and believe He will do it. Have faith and you will Be blessed!

Life of purpose…

"So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing."
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What's your purpose? Or are you just shadow boxing, never to discover God's calling in your life.

We all have a purpose that God has ordained us for, discover it and make a difference in the kingdom of God. He can use you to build His kingdom with the talents He has given you.

Run with purpose, live the life God has planned for you and Be Blessed!

Love for one another…

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.""
‭‭John‬ ‭13‬:‭35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Do you tell people you are a Christian or do you show them? We can be like the Pharisees all day long; praying elegant prayers and reading our bible and showing up at church. We make post about how great our service was or the sermon.

Or do we love people, care for their needs, feed the hungry, take care of the widows and orphans? Are we God's hands and feet?

To put it another way: Do we walk the walk or just talk the talk?

I pray that you and I are demonstrating God's love to one another. If so, then you will Be blessed!

Lies…

"When he (satan) lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭44‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The enemy wants you to believe his lie's. "Your prayers don't matter", "there is no way out of this trouble", "God doesn't love you." These, and many more, are the lies he will make you believe. He will get into your head and overwhelm you so that you cannot see the truth.

But the Word of God tells us truth. Within its pages are verse after verse that refute these lies. The Bible and time with God allow us to overcome the enemy. To build a strong defense when he attacks.

So don't believe the lies, read the truth. Spend time with your Heavenly Father and build a defense around your thoughts. Trust in the Savior and Be Blessed!

Do you ever take a moment just to thank God for His love and His blessings? For how much He loves you, even when you don't deserve it?

Most days, I am a big screw up, but yet God still loves me and blesses me. Just like we do our own children. God's favor upon us, despite who we are and how we act, astounds me. His love endures forever, no matter what.

So take a moment today. Thank Him for His goodness and love. Tell Him how much you love Him and Be Blessed!

This is the way…

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

This verse focuses on how we must be saved…Jesus is the way. But as I read it and re-read it, I see a simple approach to anything in this life…Jesus is the way.

Whatever the question…Jesus is the way. Marriage, finances, career, relationships, moral dilemmas…Jesus is the way!

So no matter what you're going through, no matter the question, Jesus is the way. Know that truth and Be blessed!

Serving others…

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes we are wore down and just flat tired. We need to make sure we are taking our sabbath to get refreshed. But we should never get tired of serving others.

God placed us here to help each other, not to do life alone. When we serve others, I feel like, God gives me an extra strength and resilience. He refreshes me!

Helping others and doing good may not pay off immediately but a harvest is coming. Others are watching and seeing God love through you. Trust me, you will Be Blessed!

Fear…

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God."
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

"Feed your fears and your faith will starve. Feed your faith and your fears will." - Mac Lucado

Fear can shut you down in a blink of an eye. It can change your attitude in an instant. Fear has literally stopped soldiers in their tracks.

Fear is a primary attack from the enemy. He uses it to intimidate and threaten you. But with a strong faith, we know God is with us and we can overcome that fear.

So build your faith up, trust in the Lord, put in the full armor of God. Know that you have nothing to fear and Be Blessed!

Battle…

"This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's."
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭15‬b NIV‬‬

Have you ever felt like you're in a war? Against an overwhelming army? Trying to overcome the enemy by yourself? It's scary, but don't be.

Remember who your Lord is: He is a mighty warrior, going before you, fighting your battles. Follow Him, listen to His direction and you will be victorious.

Turn it over to Him, let the Lord of Heaven and earth defend you! Then you will Be blessed!

Are you listening…

"The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening.""
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Samuel missed it the first three times that God spoke to him. Are you listening when God is speaking? Sometimes, He has to smack me right in the face before I hear Him.

We pray and we talk to God but do we listen for His response? Or do we listen when God is speaking to us at other times? How much have we missed out on because we didn't listen?

So when God speaks, listen! When we really hear God's voice, then we will Be Blessed!

Integrity…

"Integrity will lead you to success, but treachery will destroy your dreams."
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Are you a man of integrity?

Integrity takes lifetime to build and second to destroy. We must consciously strive each day to be men of integrity: in our public life, our private life, our work life and our spiritual life.

All that can be destroyed in one moment, one bad decision, one mistake. The world judges us by how we act and interact. They see God through us and judge Him because of us and our actions.

So choose every decision wisely, do the right thing, even when no one is looking. Be a man of integrity and Be Blessed!

Chose Jesus…

"Anyone who comes to me must be willing to share my cross and experience it as his own, or he cannot be considered to be my disciple."
‭‭Luke‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The choice to follow Jesus or yourself? It's a big decision, choosing self can have ups and downs. Maybe you succeed, maybe you don't. Life is hard with no one there to lean on.

Choosing to follow Jesus can be even more difficult. Persecution and world hate for the Christian is rampant. But the rewards far outweigh the risk. Jesus is there beside you, providing you with all you need.

Will you let the enemy rule you by yourself? Or will you fight the enemy with Jesus by your side? The choice is yours, chose Jesus and Be Blessed!

Listen…

"Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few."
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭5‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How many times do we enter prayer with request from God? We ask and ask, then we're done. But how much time do we spend listening?

Do you be quiet, be still and just listen? Listen for God's voice, listen for direction and discernment. Just listen. Remember, prayer is a conversation with your Heavenly Father. During a conversation both parties get to speak and both parties need to listen.

God is listening when you speak, are you listening when He speaks? Be quiet and listen and you will Be Blessed!

Prayer…

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How is your prayer life? Mine is, well it could always be better. I'm not a "get down on my knees" for an hour and wail and cry. I'm more of a continuous conversation with God throughout the day. Good or bad, I don't know that answer, but it works for me.

Prayer is a conversation with your Heavenly Father. You talk to Him and He talks to you. You can speak to Him with candor and tell Him when you're upset, glad, sad, happy. He is there to listen.

It is a privilege that we get to speak with Him directly. Jesus paved the way for direct prayer to the Father. So take some time today, speak to your Father and you will Be Blessed!

Success can be measured by the people you surround yourself with. Doing life together can lift each other up and accomplish so much more.

Life was never meant to be done alone. We must be in community, to live and support one another. To pour into each other's lives and to lift each other up.

Jesus spent His ministry with men who would spread His impact throughout the world and into the ages! Who are you doing life with, choose wisely and Be Blessed!

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What's your gift? Are you using it to serve God? We have a friend, whose gift is prayer and encouragement. He ends EVERY interaction with "I love you man!" Some days I seek him out just to hear that but of love and encouragement.

Find your passion and your purpose. Use it to help build God's kingdom. Not only will it uplift others, it will do something inside you that will change you.

When we serve God by serving others with what God has given us, we will Be Blessed!

I have all I need…

"The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need."
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The most memorable Psalms starts off like this. Read it then read it again. With the Lord, we have all that we need. He is our Jehovah Jireh: "the Lord my provider".

In my lifetime, I have had plenty and I have had less, but what I have found, as long as I have God, I will always be taken care of. He will always provide for our needs, if we follow and trust Him.

So take a minute to thank "the Lord your provider" today! Know that He loves you and will take care of you and you will Be blessed!

Represent…

"So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!""
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

An ambassador represents someone else on their behalf. As you walking through your daily life, you are God's ambassador. Everything you do reflects upon Him.

God uses you and me to represent Him to others! What kind of representation are you giving? Do others see God's love, grace and mercy through you?

Represent well, show others the God that you know, the one who saved you and walks beside you! Then you will Be Blessed!

God’s word…

"Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you sharing the gospel and sharing God's word with your family and those around you? I remember growing up and my Dad would read us a Bible story at night.

Leading your wife and bringing up your children in God's word is a top priority for the Christian husband/father. It is a calling that God has bestowed upon us. If you have not been doing this in the past, now is a great time to start.

Read a bible story to your children, do a devotion daily with your wife. Let them see your actions as you spend time in God's word. Make it a priority the. You will Be blessed!
