What powerful words! Jesus is saying, 'Ok, you can stone her but only if you haven't sinned yourself.'
You can condemn that post or that like, if you haven't sinned yourself. You can talk bad about they way they dress or live if you have led a sinless life.
It so easy to look at someone else's life and nitpick it. See their faults. But when you look in the mirror, do you see your own life? Do you see all the wrong things you have done and the people you have offended? Do you look at the man in the mirror and judge him first?
Take a step back, extend some grace to yourself and others. Learn how to help yourself and help others overcome their sin, and Be Blessed!

He strengthens us…
""Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine." Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him."
Luke 22:42-43 NLT
I want us to focus on verse 43; "Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him."
We often just skip over that verse. Jesus was intently in prayer at the garden. These would be some of His last hours. While He prayed, what did God do? He strengthened Him!!
That is what prayer does!! It strengthens us! It brings us closer to our Heavenly Father. And no matter the answer, God will provide the strength to make it through.
No matter what your going through, no matter how hard it feels, God will give you strength! So bring your burdens before Him, come out stronger and Be Blessed!

Stand on the dry ground…
"Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord's Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground."
Joshua 3:17 NLT
As servants of God we don't always get to be first. The priest were the last to enter the promise land, because they were serving others.
Serving others is not a burden, not a job, it is a privilege. God gave each one of us talents by which to serve. Talents to use for His glory.
Stand on the dry ground God has provided! Serve others, so that His promises can be achieved! You never know what answered prayers you are helping come true in someone else's life.

God’s love…

God loves us as much as He loves Jesus! The adopted child, us, is loved just like the natural born child. We have all the rights and privileges that God's son has!
As a stepfather, I understand this dearly. My "step"-children are MY children. They have ALL MY LOVE and all the privileges that come from being my child. When you ask me who they are, they are my children.
God is the same way! We are His children. Think about that love from the Heavenly Father and Be Blessed!

Their have been many times in my life that I didn't have a clue. Maybe about a situation or how to fix something. Or about a new medicine or procedure we were doing in the ED. You know what I did…I asked someone. Someone who knew the answers.
Now when it comes to life and anything else, there is one guy who knows it all. Your Heavenly Father! He has ALL the answers and is willing to share them if we…just ask.
You see, He is just like a loving earthly father, He wants to help. But he is also a gentleman, He won't interdict unless you ask.
So what have you been struggling with? What do you need answers too? Just ask and Be Blessed!

Listen to godly counsel, study His word daily. Find a mentor that will help guide you. I have been a Christian for over 40 years now and I haven't cracked the surface of the things that God wants to teach me.

Wisdom…
"Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?" The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom."

Solomon could have asked God for anything, but he asked for wisdom. In return, God not only gave him wisdom but a long life and riches beyond belief.
When we go to God, do we ask for material things? Health? Relationships? Or do we ask God for a better understanding of His word? A closer walk with Him?

Wisdom…

Remember the Lord…

As Nehemiah led the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he always reminded them of one thing, "Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious!"
He reminded the people who had their backs. He reminded them, that when they are faced with a difficult task, or a roaring enemy, that the Lord would be with them.
Sometimes I think we forget that and we try to do it all ourselves. Remember as you fight your battles, the Lord is with you and you will Be Blessed!

Grace is defined simply as: getting what you don't deserve. God shows me grace daily. I truly do not deserve the life He has given me.
From the beginning of time, God knew us and He knew we would fail. But He loved us so much that He made a plan to save us, to give us grace.
We must honor Him, we must seek Him, we must live a life worthy of His grace. His plan was for us to Be Blessed!

Just ask…
"O Lord, my healing God, I cried out for a miracle and you healed me!"

Our God is a healing, miracle working God. But here is the catch, He won't do it unless we ask. Yes, as simple as that! We must cry out to Him and ask.
Just like a living father who lets their child make their mistakes, watches them learn from those mistakes. Sit and watches, grieving for their child. But the moment that child ask for help, he is all over it, like a roaring lion. Oh what good fathers wouldn't do for their children if they would only ask.
So when your down, depressed, in need of a miracle, just ask. Your Heavenly Father is there to help so you can Be Blessed!

Temptations…
"He answered, "The Scriptures say: Bread alone will not satisfy, but true life is found in every word that constantly goes forth from God's mouth." But Jesus said, "Go away, Satan! For the Scriptures say: Kneel before the Lord your God and worship only him.""

As I re-read the story of Jesus being tempted I tried to think about it in today's terms.
Like bread, nothing on this earth will satisfy us. No matter how much money, power, prestige or material things; without God we will always be looking forward something more.
And in today's world, we tend to worship those things we are seeking. We worship the money, the power, the prestige and even the material things.
These are satan's constant temptations to us. We need to focus on God to make it through this world. Live by His word, it will satisfy you. Worship only Him and you will Be Blessed!

Legalism…
"For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God's Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin. So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!"

"Legalism" is dependence on moral law rather than religious faith. Basically we follow the law good enough to make it into heaven. Sorry, that's impossible. We can't achieve that no matter how hard we try.
But God made another way! God sent His son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sins! He died so we don't have too! So now we don't have to live by the law, but by the Holy Spirit that lives in us. There is NO WAY we can fail if God is with us!
We are human, mistakes will be made, but Praise God, the price has been paid and we can live a life with God and Be Blessed!

Slow to anger…

Have you ever been around someone who could get angry at the drop of a hat? I have, as a matter of fact, I have been that guy. Aren't you glad that God is not that way! I have messed up so many times in my life, yet God still shows me His love.
He is full of grace, He patiently shows us the truth and guides us. Even though we deserve anger and wrath, He is still there loving us through those difficult times.
So next time your angered, take a deep breath, show some love and grace and Be Blessed!

I chose you…

Isn't that wonderful to think about, God chose you! And He gave you a purpose and a mission. To go and produce "good fruit", to spread His word, to share His love.
Now your individual purpose may be different than mine. I may be a nurse, you may be an accountant or whatever, but ultimately God gives us each gifts to accomplish the same goal.
God chose you, for a specific task to help meet His ultimately goals, to save the world. Don't let Him down and you will Be Blessed!

A warrior…
