As I had the opportunity to led the Mercy Chefs ministry this weekend in my local area, I was struggling to find victims and contacts to feed. I started walking the parking lot and praying.
I made one lap, just one lap around our Mercy Chefs truck and I stopped to answer my phone. It was the mayor of a town who I had reached out too. She was in the need of 250 meals to feed her citizens.
God knows our needs before we ask, talk to Him and Be Blessed, I was.

Worship the Lord...
"Jesus' refusal was curt: "Beat it, Satan!" He backed his rebuke with a third quotation from Deuteronomy: "Worship the Lord your God, and only him. Serve him with absolute single-heartedness.""

The Message translation gives us a neat viewpoint, Jesus was fed up with Satan! He plainly told him, "Worship the Lord your God, and only Him", no ifs, ands, or buts.
But what do we worship? Work, money, sports, relationships? What do we put before God? All of those things may seem innocent but they are the devils way of taking our focus off of the Lord if we allow it.
Let's get our focus back on Him, worship the true Risen Savior. All those other things are temporary and will not lead to a life where you will Be Blessed!

God stands with you...

"Look!" Nebuchadnezzar shouted. "I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!""

What a powerful story of faith, these three guys were threatened with death and thrown into a furnace. But their faith never wavered. And when others looked to see what happened to them, they saw God standing there beside them.
When you are faced with opposition or the enemy is attacking, do you stand faithful and more importantly, do others see God standing with you?
People are watching when our faith is challenged, stand firm and let God stand with you so you can Be Blessed!

Is seeing believing?
"Jesus responded, "Thomas, now that you've seen me, you believe. But there are those who have never seen me with their eyes but have believed in me with their hearts, and they will be blessed even more!""

It took Thomas seeing for himself to believe that Jesus was risen. Thomas would go on to deliver God's word east and into India for all to hear.
What does it take for you to believe? An answered prayer, a miracle, maybe just seeing God's beauty in nature or that still small voice in your heart. Thomas didn't have a Bible to see and study Gods word and truths. We have all the answers right in front of us.

Ask and believe...

Asking God is one thing but believing is another. It is easy to ask for material things, for healing, for wisdom, for direction, but the tough part is believing.
So many of us ask and then worry ourselves to death and try to do something about it. But those that are truly blessed ask and then believe. That is much harder to do. Leave it alone and let God work. Seek faithful counsel and study Gods word about the subject. But leave it alone and let God do His thing in His time.
If we ask and believe, we will Be Blessed!

Your legacy...

As you look over the course of your life, or your career; do you wonder what your legacy is? Have you fought hard for your Heavenly Father, have you done all that He has called you to do?
But most of all, have you kept your faith and let that faith shine for others to see? As I examine my legacy, I see things I wish I could change, things I wish I had never done it said. But, hopefully I still have a long road to go and I can finish well.
Fight well, finish the course God has called for you and always be faithful, so you can Be Blessed!

Integrity...
"Righteousness is like a shield of protection, guarding those who keep their integrity, but sin is the downfall of the wicked."

I have always heard "integrity" defined as: doing the right thing even when no one is looking. This verse explains to us that integrity is a self fulfilling loop. Having integrity makes us righteous (having good moral and godly nature) and having righteousness helps keep our integrity.
But when we sin we fall into another it leads to our downfall. We start with a small sin, that makes it easier to do a bigger sin, next thing you know we are down the path of the wicked.
Do you do the right thing even when no one is looking? I hope we all do so that we can Be Blessed!

Our interactions...
'Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.' Colossians 4:6
How do we respond to others? Is it out of love and kindness, or is it out of hate and contempt? Just because we don't agree with each other doesn't mean that we have to respond rudely. We must show the love of God in our conversations and interactions with one another.
You see, when Christians interact with unbelievers unkindly, that is how the unbeliever sees God. They see Him as someone who is rude and judgmental. No Christian that I know wants to have their Heavenly Father portrayed that way.
Have kind loving conversations and interactions with everyone so you and they can Be Blessed!

Walk the walk...

Have you ever been with that "Christian" who is a grump? Well, I have been that grump before. A Christian who fusses and grips, argues and treats others with disrespect and contempt but yet calls themselves a child of God.
Can we really love God if we don't love others? Can we really walk through life as a "grump" yet proclaim we know the man who loves unconditionally and sacrificially?
If we are going to talk the talk we need to walk the walk. Love others as God loves you so you can Be Blessed!

Sinful nature...
"I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.
But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.

What powerful verses that Paul shares with us about his own sinful nature. Sometime I think to myself, did I just do that? I know better than to do that.
But as humans, we are all born with a sinful nature. We must constantly battle to overcome it.
But the answer, is Christ Jesus. Focus on Him, rewire your brain to look to Christ when we stray. Fill you every waking moment with God. Live a life worthy of Him so you can Be Blessed!

Teach me...

My pup, loves attention! Either it is feeding him, petting him, leading him on a walk, teaching him new tricks or lying on the couch snuggling with him. And he loves pleasing me. All those thing make him happy.
David sought the same things from God. Instruction, attention, guidance and companionship. That is where David found his happiness, seeking God's heart.
Are we seeking those things from God? Do we desire for His directions and instructions? Does our walk with Him make us happy? If it does, we will definitely Be Blesses!

As a Christian, when you do something wrong, have you every gotten that feeling in the pit of your stomach? That feeling of remorse, the moment that you know you messed up. I have!!
That feeling is God and the Holy Spirit letting you know you have sinned. Un-believers don't get this feeling. But God let's us know so we can ask for repentance.
Thank you Jesus for the remorse we feel. Let us listen to our gut because repentance and change leads to a life where we can Be Blessed!

God’s love...

Praise Him...
"Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!"

Look at the context of this verse, they were praising God! They had no reason to praise Him, they were beaten and thrown in jail and they were still praising God! Then read what happened, God showed up!!
Do you get the meaning? Don't just praise God AFTER He shows up, but praise God SO He will show up. Don't praise Him for the results, just praise Him for who He is!!
Our God is a good and loving God, praise Him continuously, for who He is and then you will Be Blessed!

Bold for Christ...

How many of your co-workers or friends know that you are a Christian? Are you bold in your faith? Do you share Christ with other? Does your life and daily activities bring honor to Christ?
To be honest, I do better some days than others. But I hope and pray that I have lived a honorable life for my Lord. On days that I fail, I feel like I have failed my best friend.
Make sure you are living a life of honor. Make sure that when people look at you, they know you are a Christian. Then you will truly, Be Blessed!
